I couldn’t help but stare.

Are these truthful representations of a prior female existence?

Idealized and white.

Where domestic red threads dominate the signage

And highly contrast the ghostly pale skin tones.

Will the real Sewing Susan please stand up?

A reaction reconstructed a societal pathway;

A revolutionary way of thinking.

History can be both beautiful and haunting;

Charming, Yet Deceitful.

It is necessary, however.

To reflect

And not forget.

The times that were.

The times that are.

And the times that shall be.
